Being Student
Respect to subjects, I believe that the most significant was “Taller experimental”. This workshop is led by professor Francisco Brugnoli. “Taller” is the more important subject of my career and take up a great portion of academic time and energy. I love it because in this art workshop we work with specific methodology, that drive us to observe, to describe and to analyse the student’s projects collectively. It was an enriching experience for me. In this subject we were working in differents arts forms and materials resources of each student, some work in performance, other work with video installation, some working in textile art, others in picture.
It was challenging for me to combine two subjects for a single project, so I made a “Bestiario” it’s about the little beats of organic forms, what seem to be body organs, fungal colonies, or microscopics bugs, made of textile and pottery. This project I analysed into “taller experimental” but I made into pottery workshop. In other moment I took a theoretical seminar about the violence, since that seminar I reviewed some clothing projects which I address this topic.
About to infrastructure is a little ruinous, but it works. We have many workshops well
implemented, with tools and wide working spaces and technicians support us in our projects, habitually a lot of student stay working late even saturday.
Is interesting for me to write about this student cycle that are ending. This experience has been fruitful and hard, I have learned a lot beyond academic knowledge, I suppose because I have decided to live it this way.
