Learning english

Learning english at university has been a goal not to easy for me. At school I haven’t good teachers especially in latest years. Besides English wasn’t a priority for me those years ago. I regret of that. English has become to be the principal international language. So, every english subject has been a hard work for me but a very positive experience to learn more and more. When we work in blogs, I can see the big knowledge difference between me and my mates but I think I have progressed a lot despite the difficulties. Mainly I have to improve my verbs knowledge, in present, past and to talk in live to other persons and tourists. This coming vacation will be an excellent opportunity to practice without the academic pression. Outside the English class I’m  using English to understand better my favorite series and movies in Netflix,  even if they are subtitled. I like to understand more every day, so, not to have to read too much and enjoy the original sound of them. For...

Being Student

Respect to subjects, I believe that the most significant was “Taller experimental”. This workshop is led by professor Francisco Brugnoli. “Taller” is the more important subject of my career and take up a great portion of academic time and energy. I love it because in this art workshop we work with specific methodology, that drive us to observe, to describe and to analyse the student’s projects collectively. It was an enriching experience for me. In this subject we were working in differents arts forms and materials resources of each student, some work in performance, other work with video installation, some working in textile art, others in picture. It was challenging for me to combine two subjects for a single project, so I made a “Bestiario” it’s about the little beats of organic forms, what seem to be body organs, fungal colonies, or microscopics bugs, made of textile and pottery. This project I analysed into “taller experimental” but I made into pottery workshop. In other moment...

next summer holidays

Two years ago my couple and me went to south of Perú, we knew Arequipa and Colca Canyon. In addition we travelled to peruvian side of Titicaca lake and its islands. It was a wonderful trip! That is why we want to know Lima, Cuzco and its surroundings this summer. We already got the tickets ;) In Lima we are thinking to tour the historic centre where are great examples of colonial architecture. I would like to visit  the museums Oro del Peru and Larco . Larco houses an enormous and beauty collection of Pre-Columbian art. As well we will go to the nearby beaches. After Lima we will travel to Cuzco. I expect to have the money for a ticket plane, because the trip Lima - Cuzco delays 20 hours!!! I really hate to travel for many hours in a bus. Along time ago I already have been in Cuzco and Machu Picchu. These places are beautiful and amazing, so I will feel happy for to visit them again. Furthermore I wish to tour el Valle sagrado de los Incas , it’s composed of rivers, ...

My vegetable garden

Imagen
My hobby is to grow my vegetable garden. It all began when my father made a vegetable garden in his home, but did not get good results (he lives in the country 60 km. from the city centre). I began to grow with him and to study different vegetables. After some time we install the drip irrigation system. This significantly improved the project. It's four years since, now, I go every other week planning what vegetables we will plant, making seedlings and studing how make a organic and healthy vegetable garden. Sometimes I can’t go there and the vegetable garden suffers. The greatest threat are the slugs, they are really devourer,  but I can’t kill them. Last summer I learned about “mulching”, a mulch is a layer of organic materials such a leaves or branches applied to the surface of soil. Mulching  improves fertility, health, keep the humedity and protects from the frosts and weeds, then  it’s no longer necessary that I spend long days weeding. I enjoy and relax...
